He uses a transforming hextech hammer to blow away his enemies. One of the less known facts about him is that he is astonished by robotical life forms such as Orianna and Blitzcrank. On the other hand, he absolutely hates necromantic experiments and augmentation. For example, there are no new animations or voice filters that other skins have. Jayce wears metal armor and looks very similar to Garen.
The best part of the skin is surely its splash art. The stout paladin appears unbeatable. Jayce is one of the most well-read people in the entire League universe. All of that reminds me of one word — class.
That is exactly what this skin provides. Jayce wears a white tuxedo and is ready to steal the show. But like with many things, Jayce is an outlier here as well. Full Metal Jayce was released a decade ago and still stands strong. You can guess from the title what the theme of this skin is.
The noble knight is completely covered in astonishing blue and gold armor. While his looks are stunning, that is not the case with his spells.
Regardless of that, he has a new voice which you will surely fall in love with. After being forsaken he embraces the dark side. Actually, the Full Metal Jayce look is equivalent to many popular heroes in powered armour. Still, coupled with the lore he seems closer to Iron Man, as a fellow scientist, than to Samus, an inter-galactic bounty hunter. And do you think maybe that skin was a James Bond reference?
Debonair Jayce is quite possibly a James Bond reference due to the dinner suit, refined womaniser manners and technological gadget; the Mercury Hammer in this case. It still passes as mostly a gentleman skin but there sure seems to be a layer of James Bond in it. I have a question why is the rating of the full metal jayce skin 3 stars now it used to be 5, last time i checked? For instance, besides the concept and processed voice-over Full Metal and Debonair Jayce offer the same: new model and particles.
Full Metal Jayce is still a good skin and an attractive option for Jayce fans. They are very different skins. Not only do they have different prices but they also have radically different concepts: fantasy and sci-fi.
You should consider which champion you like and play the most and also which theme you prefer. Neither are cheap but Full Metal certainly is expensive. They are nice skins but we think that Foxfire is a better fit for its price. However, it all comes down to which one you prefer as none is a bad choice. Probably in the coming week or weeks. Risen Fiddlesticks has just been released right after the patch was deployed. Which one is part of what little mystery is left.
Just something I thought was worth mentioning. We have a different approach to reviews. We consider the price an important aspect when buying especially when a skin costs more and offers hardly anything over a cheaper alternative. Take Full Metal versus Debonair: if we take the processed voice-over out then both skins offer almost the same features. In fact, Debonair has a new recall that Full Metal lacks. The Full Metal theme is more attractive for a sci-fi character but a skin at RP is expected to have also new sounds and animations.
We understand your point of view. However, more expensive skins tend to have more features than cheaper ones. Then we analyse whether they all come together at presenting the theme in a way fitting for the price they charge. At that price a skin should offer more and there are examples that they can. Finally, we do try to note in the reviews when a skin is well done but the price is too high. When a skin is good it should be noted and we do try. However, we also take the price into account so that if someone wants to pay more for a skin that is good but expensive they can.
Our main intention is for people to make informed purchases not to tell them what to buy. About now in fact. Sorry we made the Order wait; you can leave that hammer now, please.
Thanks a lot Zero, just another thing, how good do you think Kassadin is currently? And also will he get a new skin anytime soon? Kassadin looks better than before but, as it often happens with visual upgrades, his skins have been homogenized towards the classic look. However, when and what are a complete mystery.
The tail of hair that he has on his chin and what I believe to be his lightsaber-esque sword give this away. Honestly, most of skins in here are amazingly good. Especially Jayce, who get not only younger look and by far my personal opinion the best splash art of this year. Battle Professor Graves is fine but model look uneven. Lux is way too lacking to be a RP skin tier of good and V.
O box of Ezreal is awful and annoying. Jayce and Katarina maybe leave that for you to find it. We agree that they could get better but skins that reach the PBE are usually as good as finished. They may receive some small changes but even that is unusual. Effect in Battle Academy skin is supposed to be like an shounen effect that used in anime like Naruto, Dragonball, My Hero Academia which is what the skinline based on. So that why i said it kinda weird on Yuumi but the efficient is fine enough.
Nowadays, they are as the example you mention demonstrates. The gambling experience of hextech crafting is a clear indicator of the direction the game has taken, a pity. The last time he received the skin is Cosmic Reaver, which belong from Event Horizon skin series. Hey, even Malzahar get Arcade and later on a very good hextech skin.
Okay, i will give you a better example. Sion, the previous main of mine and somewhat the pathetic one rival only by Skarner and Xerath. But that leaving like bad option one. I mean you right, profit get the most of them. Business is still business so yeah i understand that.
Not that it makes things easier but at least we should be aware of how things work. True, things could be worse but they could be better. Some could even say that they were better in the past. Unrankedsmurfs Skindex Jayce Skins. Full Metal Jayce. Debonair Jayce. Forsaken Jayce. Jayce Brighthammer. Battle Academia Jayce.
